    Overview

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 marks Royal Enfield's debut in the electric vehicle space. Launched on April 10, 2026, it draws direct inspiration from the original 1940s Flying Flea — a lightweight military motorcycle used during World War II. The C6 takes that heritage and wraps it in a thoroughly modern electric powertrain.

At its heart is a 15.4 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) delivering 60 Nm of torque, mated to a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery. The claimed IDC range stands at 154 km, though real-world range is expected to settle between 70–100 km depending on riding style, speed, and conditions. The bike weighs just 124 kg, making it one of the lightest electric motorcycles in the premium segment.

Design-wise, the C6 features a distinctive Girder fork front suspension — a nod to pre-war motorcycle engineering — paired with a rear monoshock. The forged aluminium frame provides both rigidity and lightness. A circular LED headlamp, floating seat design, and slim profile complete the retro aesthetic.

On the tech front, the C6 comes loaded: a full-colour TFT touchscreen with Google Maps navigation, cornering ABS, traction control, customisable ride modes, wireless phone charging, and a"Phone as a Key" feature via Bluetooth. Charging from 20% to 80% takes approximately 65 minutes via the onboard charger.

Royal Enfield also offers a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, reducing the purchase price to ₹1.99 lakh with a monthly battery subscription — making electric motorcycle ownership more accessible for first-time EV buyers.
